000 ABNT20 KNHC 022349 TWOAT TROPICAL WEATHER OUTLOOK NWS TPC/NATIONAL HURRICANE CENTER MIAMI FL 800 PM EDT THU JUL 2 2009 FOR THE NORTH ATLANTIC...CARIBBEAN SEA AND THE GULF OF MEXICO... A NON-TROPICAL AREA OF LOW PRESSURE LOCATED ABOUT 1150 MILES WEST-SOUTHWEST OF THE AZORES IS PRODUCING SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE DISPLACED TO THE EAST OF THE CENTER DUE TO STRONG UPPER-LEVEL WINDS. THESE WINDS ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN UNFAVORABLE...AND FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF THIS SYSTEM...IF ANY...WILL BE SLOW TO OCCUR AS IT MOVES GENERALLY EASTWARD NEAR 10 MPH. THERE IS A LOW CHANCE...LESS THAN 30 PERCENT...OF THIS SYSTEM BECOMING A TROPICAL OR SUBTROPICAL CYCLONE DURING THE NEXT 48 HOURS.
